You may be just the person we need.  We are currently seeking a Plant Quality Control Inspector in our Design department.


Position Description:  The Plant Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for making sure that plant products and processes are held to the standard set by the FINFROCK plant quality committee. Employees are responsible for the daily inspection and reporting of unsafe conditions and performance in the plant.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in cross-training program consisting of time spent in manufacturing, erection, and quality/safety
  • Inspect dimensions, tensioning processes, reinforcing, connection hardware, handling hardware, stability of setup, and  finish quality for all types of pre-cast products before and after placement of concrete

Involves the enforcement, consultation, and reporting, of the above inspections

Involves the organization and the delivery of the “paper trail" that pertains to the above. This includes the use and understanding of personal computers, handheld units connected through wireless networks, and standard filing systems.

  • Responsible for employee safety in designated areas

Must participate in a safety training program which includes seminars and in-house certifications

Perform safety inspections and reports daily

Enforce safety guidelines conveyed to inspectors via safety manager and in-house training





  • ACI, PCI, and OSHA certifications or training seminars
  • PCI certifications are top priority in this job
  • Construction or manufacturing education or experience
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office



  • Person must be in a physical shape that allows them to climb forms and ladders without compromising their safety or the safety of anyone around them
  • Must also be in a condition that allows them to work in the elements
  • Must be able to carry around a load of 15 lbs. throughout the day.

  • Being able to use tablet and smartphone technology is a must  -  we read only electronic prints
