Carpenter Job Description

The carpenter is a position located at our Belle Glade manufacturing facility. 

You will be responsible for cutting wood and other materials to precise dimensions and angles.

You understand that all injuries, even if minor, shall be reported to management and/or the safety office

This is a full time position that may vary outside the normal work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Depending on the area you work in, the shift may require working in the early morning or at night

Personal protective equipment will be required for most areas to work, including boots, hardhat and gloves. Depending on the position you work in, safety glasses, hearing protection, dust mask and other PPE may be required

Experience

You have the ability to read a tape measure.

You have good communication skills

You have a basic knowledge of tools and power tools

You are able to read production prints/instructions from a tablet or you have the ability to learn

You are able to safely lift 50 lbs. at any given time during the shift

You are able to follow directions
