FINFROCK is currently seeking a full-time QC Inspector to join our manufacturing team at our Central Florida headquarters. As a QC inspector, you would be a key part of a team of hard-working and detailed individuals achieving plant goals for our large-scale projects.

This position will be responsible for making sure that the manufactured concrete products and processes are held to the standard set by the FINFROCK plant quality committee. Employees are responsible for the daily inspection of all components of these products and the reporting of unsafe conditions and performance in the plant.

Job Description

  • Inspect precast concrete product and component dimensions
  • Perform tensioning processes for prestressed concrete products
  • Inspect all reinforcing, connection, and handling hardware for conformance to the issued design documents
  • Ensure proper stability of setup of all forming installed by the production staff prior to the placement of concrete
  • Review and approve the finish quality for all types of precast concrete products before and after
  • Requires enforcement, consultation, and the reporting of all of the listed inspections for the job
  • Requires that proper recording, reporting, and documentation is completed to conform to the Finfrock Plant-Quality-Safety Manual (PQSM)
  • Responsible for employee safety in designated areas
  • Must participate in a safety training program which includes seminars and in-house certifications
  • Enforce safety guidelines conveyed to inspectors via safety manager and in-house training
  • This position periodically requires night & weekend work as necessary to meet concrete production schedules

Experience

  • PCI certifications are a top priority in this job:
  • You have or can obtain ACI Field Testing Technician Grade I
  • You have or can obtain PCI individual personnel certifications (I, II, III)
  • (Those not already possessing these certifications must be willing and able to obtain them in a reasonable time)
  • You must be able to use tablet and smartphone technology as we work with digital/electronic prints only
  • You must be in a physical shape that allows you to climb forms and ladders without compromising their safety or the safety of anyone around them
  • You must also be in a condition that allows you to work outdoors during various weather conditions
  • You must be able to carry a load of 15 lbs. throughout the day
  • You have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • You possess ethical conduct
  • You work well under pressure
  • You are detail-oriented
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • You like to collaborate and you are a team player
