Job Description

Visit various construction sites and determine installation dates meet plan specifications

Interface with site PM and Superintendent and help resolve issues and /or carry them back to the Architectural Team (RFIs)

Create Field Observation reports with photos of the progress to date along with any upcoming areas of concern

Verify field dimensions and/or installations to determine that they meet ADA/FHA codes and standards

Framing; MEP-FP; Pre-cast; CIP

Observation of each discipline’s installation and help determine if what has been installed is per plans and specification

Work within time constraints to meet production schedules and budgets.

Attend weekly meetings and non-essential activities on behalf of the design department and deliver memos and or full reports as required

Provide direct contact with both the design department and the construction field personnel

Assist with establishing project procedures, problem solving activities, project budget meetings as they relate to the Construction Administration phase of a project

Initiate document revisions, project reviews

Assist with punch lists

Help Architects track specific installations and milestones during construction

Help with submittal review progress and overall job progression

Experience

Experience with Primavera (P6) software

Able to read construction documents, plans, spec’s, details, etc.

Able to track project progress from developmental through construction

Experience as an Owner’s Rep is a plus

Can use a tape measure; Laser Level; Smart Level:

Capable of anticipating questions and identify inconsistencies in the documents as well as field conditions

Working knowledge of where to find typical details and how to read specifications

Outlook; Teams; Excel; Word; – BIM360; Pro Core or Plan Grid experience a plus:

Ability to coordinate multiple projects

Ability to work both in normal office environment and job sites

Demonstrate decision making and problem-solving abilities

Good communication skills
