Senior Human Resources Generalist
Job Description
The senior human resources generalist is responsible for performing routine tasks required to administer human resources programs including compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and personnel management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to appropriate management.
Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations per company policies and procedures.
Perform other related Human Resources duties as assigned.
Experience
You have a Bachelor’s degree (B.A) and five to six years of progressive experience human resources experience.
A SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
A strong knowledge of JDEdwards (a plus).
You are proficient in Microsoft Office.
You possess ethical conduct.
You are an excellent communicator and are good at listening.
You have a good professional image and great time management skills.
You enjoy collaborating and are a team player.
You are self-motivated and self-directed.
Salary commensurate with experience.
