Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager is required to provide daily support to the project management and field team on current construction projects. May be responsible for processing the following but not limited to, subcontractor documents, meeting minutes, RFI’s.  Due to the nature of this position, constant communication must be maintained.  The project engineer will have the following responsibilities:

  • Assists the project manager with subcontractor procurement
  • Obtain material quotes from suppliers and submit purchase orders for approval
  • Project administration, coordination, and close-out
  • Assists the project manager with conducting PM Web project coordination
  • Assists the project team with managing pertinent construction documentation such as submittals, RFI’s, change orders, notifications, and correspondence
  • Strong ability to command daily/ weekly and monthly meetings
  • Project specific meeting minutes
  • Onsite assistance to field team as necessary
  • Provides project specific training
  • Promotes customer relations
  • Promote culture, leadership, and employee development
  • Other duties as assigned

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary based on the tasks assigned and may fall outside the normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work may occur during evenings and weekends based on tasks assigned.


  • A two-to-four-year degree is preferred, or a high school diploma or equivalent, with proven manufacturing safety experience.
  • A working knowledge of manufacturing and construction practices.
  • Ability to work long hours with regular travel.
