FINFROCK RETURNS FOR FAMU’S SECOND PHASE OF STUDENT HOUSING

FINFROCK, Florida’s leading design-builder, is thrilled to announce the groundbreaking ceremony for FAMU Towers Phase 2, a new 4-story, 700-bed dormitory at Florida A&M University (FAMU). The event, which took place on April 23, marks a significant milestone in the expansion of student housing facilities at the university.

Following the successful completion of FAMU Towers Phase 1, FINFROCK is proud to continue its partnership with FAMU in enhancing campus infrastructure. The Phase 2 project will provide additional student accommodation, furthering the university’s commitment to fostering
a vibrant and supportive living environment.

Key subcontractor partners for the project include Precisions Fire Systems, Power Design, Inc., and Dowdy Corporation, who will play crucial roles in implementing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

The new dormitory is expected to accommodate the growing student population at FAMU and enhance the overall residential experience for students. With state-of-the-art amenities and modern design features, FAMU Towers Phase 2 delivers innovative campus housing options, especially for incoming first-year students.

Completion of FAMU Towers Phase 2 is slated to open for the Fall 2025 semester, with construction progress expedited by FINFROCK’s innovative DualDeck Building System ®.
