The municipal parking garage serves patrons of the Paul DeMaio Library as well as future commercial and residential projects and City Hall at the Dania Beach City Center. The garage was built using the latest environmental design techniques and materials, such as recycled concrete, high-efficiency fluorescent lighting, cisterns to capture rainwater to irrigate the surrounding landscaping, and charging stations for electric and hybrid vehicles.
Fun fact: this project was featured as a set for the A&E drama, “The Glades”.
