Gulf Coast Medical Center is a 356-bed acute care facility located in Fort Myers Florida that opened in March 2009. In 2016, the facility began undergoing a 365,700-square-foot expansion and renovation to better serve patients in the Southwest Florida community. This busy hospital needed additional parking to accommodate its new expansion. Working with the hospital’s architect to ensure the new parking structure would complement the existing campus, FINFROCK developed a solution to minimize the impact of construction on an operational hospital campus while constructing the garage quickly to avoid unnecessary inconvenience from the loss of existing parking.
