FINFROCK’s ability to meet the client’s needs makes our design-build process superior
Gulf Coast Medical Center is a 356-bed acute care facility located in Fort Myers Florida that opened in March 2009. In 2016, the facility began undergoing a 365,700 square-foot expansion and renovation to better serve patients in the Southwest Florida community. This busy hospital needed additional parking to accommodate their new expansion. Working with the hospital’s architect to ensure the new parking structure would complement the existing campus, FINFROCK developed a solution to minimize the impact of construction to an operational hospital campus while constructing the garage quickly to avoid unnecessary inconvenience from the loss of existing parking.
FINFROCK was contracted by SKANSKA USA Building, Inc. on behalf of Lee Memorial Health System to build a new 1,292 stall parking structure. FINFROCK’s design-build services included parking consulting services, architect of record, engineer of record, precast/prestressed concrete manufacturer and general contractor.
