New structure seamlessly blends with surrounding neighborhood

The age-old problem of aesthetic sensibility versus economic feasibility often brings building projects to a halt. In this case, FINFROCK designed a garage that conformed to the aesthetic requirements of the Pinecrest Preparatory School’s desire to blend a new parking garage into the existing campus as well as the surrounding neighborhood, do it cost-effectively, and with an aggressive construction schedule. To accomplish this FINFROCK went back to the basics, mixing straightforward spandrel construction with wall panels. The addition of simple Bahama-type shutters to cover window openings gives the building a South Florida appeal while keeping within budget.
