South Miami Hospital hired a well-known national parking consultant to assist their architect with the design of their new parking structure. The challenges included a very restricted site, maintaining 24-hour access to the adjacent Emergency Room, and a very short construction schedule. Upon pricing the original layout, the general contractor, The Auchter Company, realized the hospital was not getting the same value they had delivered to other clients where Finfrock was consulted on the design. Finfrock was asked to review the layout. Finfrock met all the challenges while making improvements, which translated the original design into a manufacturable product.
