When Universal Orlando Resort committed to launching its new family resort adjacent to Universal Epic Universe in early 2025, FINFROCK stepped in as architect, structural engineer, manufacturer and general contractor—delivering a full-service, design-build solution. The 750-room Stella Nova hotel, featuring double-queen guest rooms, spaceship-style windows and a galactic palette of teals and purples, will serve Universal’s guests for years to come—demonstrating the value of hiring FINFROCK’s design-build team.

Throughout construction, FINFROCK overcame several first-of-its-kind challenges — including producing and erecting the company’s first curved DualDeck® precast piece, engineering the sweeping porte cochere, and integrating custom curved window panels within a high-rise precast system to compliment the hotel’s signature celestial architecture. Leveraging in-house precast manufacturing and precise coordination, the team maintained speed, quality, and safety while delivering a sleek, resilient resort that’s built to endure.

The nine-story hotel opened on schedule in January 2025, aligning with Universal’s timeline to welcome guests ahead of the new theme park debut. FINFROCK’s integrated design-manufacture-construct approach allowed the team to maintain tight control over quality, schedule, and safety, from concept through completion.
