The Alderley has reached a major construction milestone at CenterPointe in Altamonte Springs. With the final precast concrete piece now in place, the seven-story multifamily building has topped out, marking the completion of the structure and core and shell. This milestone represents a major step forward for The Alderley and for the broader mixed-use development taking shape near Cranes Roost Park.
What makes the progress even more notable is the pace. In just three months, the project moved from an empty lot to a topped-out structure. That speed reflects the value of planning, coordination, and a vertically integrated approach that keeps design, manufacturing, and construction moving together from the start.
Watch The Alderley Rise From Empty Lot to Topping Out
The timelapse below captures The Alderley’s progress from the early stages of construction through the placement of the final piece. In a short period of time, the site transformed from an open lot into a fully erected structure, giving a clear view of how quickly new construction is moving forward at CenterPointe in Altamonte Springs.
A Major Construction Milestone at The Alderley
Topping out marks the point when a building’s structure is complete, and the erection process is over. For The Alderley, it is one of the most visible milestones in the construction process and an important signal of momentum on site. With the final piece now set, the building stands as a fully formed addition to the growing CenterPointe development.
This milestone also reflects the work that happens long before the last piece is lifted into place. Planning, manufacturing, coordination, and field execution all play a role in reaching this stage successfully. As shared during the topping out celebration, seeing the project go from nothing to this point is a rewarding reminder. Below are a few renderings of what the finished building will look like:

Continuing the Momentum at CenterPointe
The CenterPointe, the first residential phase of the larger CenterPointe mixed-use development, broke ground in December 2023 and was completed in 2025, delivering a seven-story apartment building with 269 units and an attached 7 level parking garage. In other words, CenterPointe is the overall development, while The CenterPointe refers specifically to the first multifamily building.
FINFROCK served as architect, precast concrete manufacturer, and general contractor, helping deliver the project through an integrated process from design through construction.
That earlier phase helped establish the foundation for continued growth across the site. Now, with The Alderley rising nearby, CenterPointe continues to take shape as one of the most prominent mixed-use developments in Altamonte Springs.

The Alderley’s Role in CenterPointe Altamonte Springs
CenterPointe is part of Emerson International’s long-term vision for a connected mixed-use district in Altamonte Springs. Located along the east side of I-4 adjacent to Cranes Roost Park, the development is designed to bring residential, retail, office, and hospitality uses together in one walkable environment.
The Alderley adds a new multifamily building to that vision and continues the steady evolution of the site. As new construction advances, it reinforces CenterPointe’s role in the city’s growing urban core and highlights the continued demand for well-located residential development near Cranes Roost.
For those following mixed-use development in Altamonte Springs, new construction near Cranes Roost Park, or the continued growth of CenterPointe, this milestone is another clear sign of progress on site.

Watch this video to get a closer look at the topping out celebration and the people behind the milestone. Featuring Project Manager Jack Saboor and moments from the day, it captures both the meaning of topping out and the pride that comes with reaching this point on a fast-moving project.
What Comes Next for The Alderley
While topping out marks the completion of the structure and core and shell, it is not the end of the project. It is the transition into the next phase of work as The Alderley continues moving toward final completion at CenterPointe.
From the groundbreaking to this latest milestone, progress at The Alderley reflects the larger vision taking shape in Altamonte Springs. We are proud to see the project reach this stage and look forward to sharing more as work continues and the finished building comes into view.
